The AS Fontonne Football club in Antibes will celebrate the 25th anniversary of its International Veterans Tournament on May 17, 18, and 19, and will follow it with its traditional International Youth Tournament, the 43rd edition, on May 26, 27, and 28. To mark these two events, the club will mobilize in a unique way for the underprivileged!

Indeed, to attend the tournament, the admission ticket will be a can of sardines! Therefore, a significant collection of such food items is expected, and a scale will certify the weight collected as it progresses, up to the promised ton!

The youth tournament will mobilize for children:

A collection of baby and children’s products will be conducted for the benefit of the Antibes associations of the French Red Cross and “By Children, For Children.” Here too, a ton is anticipated!

Moreover, to complement this initiative, a major comedy show titled “Totor and the Divine Mission” will be organized on Friday, May 25, at 8 PM in the amphitheater of the Horticultural High School of Antibes for the benefit of the charitable associations partnering with the operation.

Thus, following the major events of its fiftieth anniversary, including the organization of the famous 50-hour football match that remains etched in all sporting memories, AS Fontonne Football—through this new civic project—confirms its commitment to being “more than just a sports club” by once again mobilizing for the underprivileged.

Through this new unifying project for all the actors in its region, the AS Fontonne football club aims to demonstrate that it is more than just a football club; it is an essential player in the associative life of its city and its era.
