On Friday, June 15, as part of the 2012 Health Project Call, Eric Ciotti, President of the General Council of the Alpes-Maritimes, and Emile Serna, President of the Departmental Association of Public Education Pupils 06 (PEP 06), will present an Interactive System for balance and gait rehabilitation “in a virtual reality environment.”
V. Gait, a cutting-edge piece of equipment that is part of the 2012 Health Project Call.
The V. Gait is a virtual rehabilitation system based on friendly and stimulating analysis and training to improve the pathological walking patterns of patients with neurological, orthopedic, musculoskeletal, or age-related disorders. Learning is accelerated through the direct correction of movements when the patient sees themselves or can overlay their movement with what they are supposed to accomplish. It is intended for children and adults.

The 5th Health Project Call was launched in November 2011, on the theme “technological innovations, fight against cancer and Alzheimer’s disease,” with a budget of 3.13 million euros. 22 winners were selected by the jury.
The main objective of this initiative is to promote or support innovative projects developed by teams from Alpes-Maritimes, aiming at improving the prevention, detection, diagnosis, or management of diseases. A proactive health policy.
