Since February 24th, when the war in Ukraine broke out, numerous acts of solidarity have developed around the world, including in the metropolis of Nice.

Starting Monday, March 14, the metropolis is offering a free transportation pass for a duration of 3 months to Ukrainian refugees. From the start, the metropolis and the reception house for victims have been distributing 10-trip tickets, but this time, the measure is being reinforced.

Who is it for?

The individuals who will be able to benefit from this transportation pass are the refugees due to the war in Ukraine, who are supported or assisted by the social action community centers (CCAS) of the municipalities in the metropolis or by the victim reception house in the city of Nice.

Occasional transportation for Ukrainian refugees can also be covered, especially for children needing to go to school but unable to use the Lignes dโ€™Azur network lines.

How to obtain it?

This transportation pass is available starting today, Monday, March 14, upon request at the victim reception house (6 rue Gubernatis, Nice).

Last Friday, during the metropolitan council meeting, a support plan for Ukrainian refugees was voted on. It notably provides for the delivery of equipment to Ukraine and the welcoming of refugees in the metropolitan area.
