Pierre-Alain Mannoni, a lecturer-researcher at the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis, was arrested in October in La Turbie with three Eritrean women in his car. Initially acquitted, he had appeared in court following an appeal by the prosecutor’s office. The Aix-en-Provence Court of Appeal issued a ruling this afternoon.
The Aix-en-Provence Court of Appeal has ruled. Pierre-Alain Mannoni, 46, a lecturer-researcher at the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis, has been sentenced to a two-month suspended prison sentence.
