In North Nice, in the Ray district, a green eco-district has just been completed. This is the “largest green facade project in Europe,” declared the real estate group Vinci, which is behind the project.
Built on the former Ray Stadium, this brand-new real estate project is a true green haven. Located at 54 boulevard Gorbella, this eco-district spans 24,500 mยฒ and includes 10 buildings, housing 350 apartments, including 100 social housing units.

But the real asset of this district is the vegetation. Indeed, for now, we primarily see concrete and wood, but in three years, all the building surfaces will be covered with trees, plants, flowers… In a few years, it will become a green oasis.
This complex has an ecological benefit because once the surfaces are covered with vegetation, there will be no need for air conditioning in the summer during heatwaves, for example.
For now, residents can access aromatic herbs for free at the base of the buildings. Rainwater is also collected to water the plants.
