This Sunday, the 20th, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, in the communal woods of Rouret & at the Maison du Terroir.
Mushroom picking is one of the greatest natural pleasures of autumn. There is a wide variety in our woods.
Accompanied by the mycologists of the Nice and Alpes-Maritimes Naturalists Association (ANNAM), learn to recognize them and understand their amazing life cycle!
The program:
• 9:00 AM: Start of the mushroom outing (at the parking lot of the communal woods).
Identification and collection of mushrooms in the communal woods, guided by a mycologist. Remember to bring a basket or a paper bag for collecting (no plastic bags, as they damage the mushrooms). Good shoes, a knife, a magnifying glass, and note-taking materials will also be useful in the field.
• 12:00 PM: Friendly picnic (not provided).
• 2:00 PM: Exhibition of the mushrooms collected in the morning, sharing of knowledge, and discussions about the harvest in the central hall of the Maison du Terroir, supervised by the mycologists of the ANNAM.
