Adeline and Cynthia Vescan in the women’s categories (59 kilos and 72 kilos), 5th in the senior European championships, and recently signed with Cavigal, represented France.
Chakir Ansari in the 55 kilos freestyle wrestling, this season’s winner with the Nice D1 team, also represented France.
The women achieved an impressive feat, with Adeline Vescan reaching the finals after defeating the Swiss, Russian, and Ukrainian competitors.

Cynthia Vescan also put in a strong performance by defeating the Serbian and then the Italian.

Chakir Ansari had a strong run in freestyle wrestling by defeating the Belarusian and the Englishman. He lost to the Azerbaijani, who was too strong technically.
He finished 5th in these championships and achieved the best result of the French team.
All three are selected for the World Championships in Romania in August.
