Le Peuple de l’herbe delivers a delightful mix, a synthesis of 14 years of musical journey, all infused with brass, scratches, and anthology samples. Their sound is recognizable within two measures, no matter what genre the band attempts. Powerful and regular rotations, interspersed with precisely timed breaks, slightly shift the focus – just enough to create a disconcerting imbalance, yet without losing momentum. Vintage sounds and brass, samples drawn from the most varied sources blend together to convey a sensation of obviousness – an apparently simple formula, for which Le Peuple is the sole keeper.

With A Matter of Time, the band presents its most explicitly groove-driven album, 13 tracks that borrow unashamedly from funk and rock with expertly crafted tension-resolution structures – a peaceful blend of enthusiasm and rage, pop and wah-wah, mastery and energy. It seems as if the pulses of the time inspired them to throw open the windows, delivering a series of tracks with a highly exhilarating impact. www.lepeupledelherbe.net

Opening act: Yuna Project (France). Between jazz/rock, ethnic music, hip hop and electro, a distinctive eclecticism permeates the group’s journey, culminating in a debut album titled “On the Edge”. A voyage of subtle differences, “bewitching, hypnotizing”. https://www.yunaproject.com/
