From the Tende Pass to the Tanaro River. The Ligurian Alps and the Monregalese offers a cultural, historical, and contemporary insight into the alpine valleys from the south of the Cuneo province – Vermenagna, Colla, Josina, Pesio, Ellero, Corsaglia, Casotto, Mongia, Tanaro –, which open to the northern slope of the Ligurian Alps, extended by the Monregalese area.
It invites the reader throughout its pages to rediscover these gentle Piedmont valleys with their beautiful lifestyle, watched over by the guardian peaks of Bisalta and Marguareis, in the heart of the ancient chestnut civilization and the salt routes.
