Autumn is the season when leaves fall from the trees, but it is also the season for the return of cultural activities, particularly theater performances.
This is the case with the P’tit Théâtre de l’Inattendu, one of the many artistic venues in the city where passionate people can express their creativity, acting, management skills… in short, pull out all the stops to satisfy their personal pleasure and those who appreciate them.
Starting this Friday (with performances Saturday at 8:30 PM and Sunday at 3 PM) will be the play “Les Cinq dits des clowns au Prince,” a play by Jean Alègre, directed by Karine Petrelli, aimed at anyone aged 7 to 97 who has a desire to laugh and question today’s society.
However, we know that the present is always a moment of synthesis and transition between the lived past and the dreamed future.
So, what story does P’tit Théâtre de l’Inattendu have to tell us?
It was in August 1994 that Karine PETRELLI and Lélia VECCHINI gave birth to the Inattendu.
An association aiming for Theater, the type of Theater they love to perform and have performed…
With determination and thanks to precious friends, they turned a small restaurant hall on Rue Pertinax in Nice into a lovely little pocket theater: the P’tit Théâtre de l’Inattendu.
From there, they can practice their art in full freedom, with creations, plays by authors, and musicals for children.
In 1997, they visited a location on Rue Delille and it was love at first sight: they decided to transform a sign shop into the same P’tit Théâtre they created three years earlier with love, taste, and passion, with the help of many devoted friends.
The P’tit Théâtre de l’Inattendu is a friendly and endearing place because Karine and Lélia have always been keen to entertain the audience joyfully while offering quality performances.
