Peter Pan? Magical! With only three ropes, a pyramid of old piled-up sofas, and costumes stitched together from odds and ends, six adult actors bring to life more than 25 characters with frenetic energy, making us believe wholeheartedly in the story of the villainous Captain Hook, the rebellious Peter Pan, and his accomplice Tinker Bell… As enchanting as it is, the play does not soften the cruelty of the original work (which can sometimes unsettle the youngest audience members…), but sheds light on the inexorable passage of time that Peter Pan refuses to acknowledge… So, how to remain a child? By falling in love with Peter, like Wendy, mocking the pirates who are foolish and ugly, slipping to the other side of the curtain, and dreaming awake.
