This is the very first edition of the “Jeunes Pousses” festival, which we hope will have a bright future. This festival allows young directors and young actors to present their work in a pleasant setting.
Young authors, directors, actors, musicians, dancers, and choreographers… a wave of energy and talent is going to invade the Théâtre de la Cité and then, well, let’s dare to speak young and say: the Téci Theater…
Initiated by the Miranda company, this festival designed for young companies aims to highlight the creativity of tomorrow’s artists.
It is also a way to reach out to those who, like Miranda 20 years ago (and yes… in its initial form the troupe was called Bayreuth Silence), wanted to embark on the adventure “anyway” and win the crazy bet of living from their passion.
As part of this festival, the La Machine Collective presents the play “Le 20 novembre by Lars Norèn”. Directed by: Benjamin Migneco.
A play on a shocking and timely theme, presented in Nice by the “La Machine” collective. Through the raw writing of contemporary poetry, “Le 20 novembre” propels us inside a tormented mind: that of a young man pushed by the gaze of others, to intellectual retreat and murder.
His distress spreads beyond the text and reflects our malice, violence, selfishness, and intolerance. A sense of guilt overwhelms us and urges us to ask fundamental questions.
