This year again, the seniors of the city of Nice are invited to return to the University Côte d’Azur at the start of the school year.
For those who wish to revisit the school path, the city of Nice, in collaboration with Université Côte d’Azur, has implemented this innovative program. Reserved for those over 55 and holders of the “Carte Métropole Seniors Plus,” access to lectures is possible throughout the year. Moreover, this “Carte Métropole Seniors Plus” is free. It allows participation in numerous city activities designed for seniors.
Thus, for a unique annual fee of €80, Nice university institutions open their doors. Indeed, seniors are granted auditor status, allowing them to access the lectures of their choice over two semesters.
An immersive experience
The range of accessible courses spans from the first to the third year of a bachelor’s degree. This program includes several dozen courses spread across different campuses: Saint-Jean d’Angély, Carlone, Trotabas, and STAPS. Immersing in the university atmosphere alongside students proves to be a particularly enriching experience. Finally, as auditors, seniors also benefit from a card granting access to the university restaurant and library.
