In the heart of Mercantour lies the Mollières valley and its namesake village. The hamlet, depopulated since the end of World War II, has been part of France only since the Treaty of Paris in 1947.
After a long drive along the trail, one discovers a hamlet in a state of festive siege! Everywhere, there are tents and camper vans that give the area a “Nissart-Piedmontese Woodstock” vibe.
This follows the long tradition of exchanges that exists between the two countries, between Valdeblore and Sant’Anna di Vinadio, on the other side of Lombarde.

Songs in the languages of Molière (of course!) and Dante. And the famous Mollières polenta: 60 kg for a feast beyond the ordinary and beyond time.
