Skiing by day and by night, all ski enthusiasts have dreamed of it, and the Auron resort has made it happen! Starting Thursday, it will now be possible to ski on the Colombier slope at night, as it will be illuminated for night skiing.

In addition to this illuminated slope, Auron will also inaugurate the new facilities of the 2B stadium and a new ski lift reserved for clubs that will help to ease congestion on the current Blainon chairlift.

The inauguration will take place on Thursday, December 30th (originally scheduled for the 29th, it has been postponed due to poor weather conditions), starting at 6:30 PM at the Blainon chairlift arrival area in Auron. Renaud Muselier, president of the South region, and Charles-Ange Ginésy, president of the Alpes-Maritimes department, will be present for the inauguration.

Mixed Syndicate of Mercantour Stations
Since 2003, the resorts of Isola 2000, Auron, and Saint Dalmas le Selvage have been part of the mixed syndicate of Mercantour stations, initiated by Christian Estrosi.

This initiative has enabled the development of the three resorts. The desire to equip these three resorts with the latest innovations has allowed the modernization and expansion of the ski areas, notably those of Isola 2000 and Auron, as well as the preservation of the historical heritage of the Saint Dalmas le Selvage station.
