Auto Bleue, 4 Years Later: A Positive Assessment and Bright Prospects

Latest News

Auto Bleue, the electric car-sharing service, has just celebrated its 4th anniversary.*

With more than 8,100 members and a record of over 180 tons of CO2 emissions avoided, this initiative aims to offer an alternative mode of transportation to carbon-powered vehicles. As such, Auto Bleue is a public transport service contributing to building the sustainable city of tomorrow.

The Auto Bleue service offers the possibility to rent a vehicle for short periods (from 20 minutes to three days) with cars available 7 days a week and 24 hours a day.

It is also an optimal alternative solution to personal vehicles (no insurance to subscribe to, no vehicle maintenance, no parking problems, no parking fees, etc.).

The development of this 100% electric car-sharing service also aims to help preserve the environment and improve the quality of life by limiting the number of cars in the city.

The implementation of the Auto Bleue service is part of a broader transport master plan and is firmly committed to a green development approach. It currently relies on 210 electric vehicles adapted to various uses, able to operate in a well-connected territory with 66 charging stations and 3 fast charging points.

Thus, all the vehicles in the Auto Bleue fleet have traveled a distance of 1,200,000 km in 4 years. Additionally, 300 electric vehicles from private individuals and companies are now registered with the Auto Bleue charging service, having permanently replaced polluting combustion-engine vehicles.*

These elements reinforce Auto Bleue in its ambition to continue improving the public service and open new opportunities for the future.
