The Education Prize was created in 1975 at the initiative of the Academy of Sports.
Since 1987, it has been under the patronage of the Minister in charge of National Education. The winners of the academic and national prizes are selected for their achievements in academic and sports fields as well as for their personal commitment to serving the community.
This Tuesday, Rector Emmanuel ETHIS presented the 2018 academic Education Prize of the Academy of Sports to Samuel RICIGLIANO, a 1st-grade science student at Dumont d’Urville High School in Toulon. A check for 500 euros and a medal were awarded to him.
Other prizes awarded:
– The prize for the South Provence-Alpes-Cรดte d’Azur region, awarded to Lรฉa SEVERAN, a 1st-grade economics and social sciences student at Honorรฉ d’Estienne d’Orves High School in Nice.
– The prize from the Regional Directorate for Youth, Sports, and Social Cohesion, awarded to Samuel RICIGLIANO, a 1st-grade science student at Dumont d’Urville High School in Toulon.
– The prize from the Regional Olympic and Sports Committee, awarded to Lรฉa SEVERAN, a 1st-grade economics and social sciences student at Honorรฉ d’Estienne d’Orves High School in Nice.
– The medal from the Regional Olympic and Sports Committee, awarded to Samuel RICIGLIANO, a 1st-grade science student at Dumont d’Urville High School in Toulon.
– The award for school sports and the National Union of School Sports, awarded to Samuel RICIGLIANO, a 1st-grade science student at Dumont d’Urville High School in Toulon.
