The “Cuisine Nissarde” Label 2018/2019 was awarded by Rudy Salles, Deputy Mayor of Nice in charge of Tourism, to Chef Virginie Basselot at the restaurant Le 37 Pop – Negresco.

Virginie Basselot, a Michelin-starred chef and Best Craftsman of France in 2015, has been in charge of the entire catering of the establishment since August 2018 with her second-in-command, Jérémy Brun.

The awarding of the “Cuisine Nissarde” label, supported by the Nice Tourism & Convention Bureau, to 37 Pop, the temporary restaurant of the Negresco hotel, was endorsed by its Technical Committee. An exceptional procedure that nonetheless met all the requirements of the labeling process.

This concept was implemented by the Negresco during the closure of La Rotonde for renovations.
