This year again, nearly 400 young people, aged 6 to 12, will meet on Thursday, April 28, 2011, for the second edition of the “Olympiades” at Stade Charles Ehrmann.
During the Spring holidays, children aged 3 to 12 attending the leisure centers in the city of Nice have the opportunity to learn various individual and team sports, competitive sports, and even body expression, thanks to a team of specialized instructors recruited for the occasion.
But that’s not all… during this Easter holiday, our young ones from Nice participate in guided hikes organized by the Little School of Nature, as well as numerous outings: visits to a goat farm, to the Phoenix Park, to the Boréon Wolf Park, and to the Cinémathèque of Nice.
The 7-8-year-olds are not left out!! They will defend the colors of their center during Pitchoun’lympiades: a grand finale gathering the best of them is organized on Friday, April 29 at the Fuon Cauda Leisure Center.
The teenagers aged 13-17 had the opportunity to participate in the Terra’Ventura “Alpine Raid Training” camp, which included five days of Alpine hiking, via ferrata, rock climbing, mountain biking, and sea kayaking.
