Awards ceremony for the “A Portrait for UNICEF” initiative

On Monday, March 11, the award ceremony for the contest “A Portrait for UNICEF” took place at Lycée du Parc Impérial. A total of 325 euros was raised at the end of the evening, which corresponds to complete vaccinations for more than 16 children.


The young UNICEF ambassador, Lou Cristofari, organized this drawing and photography contest on the theme of the portrait to raise funds that will go directly to UNICEF. 35 participants responded to the call and more than 100 people were present at the award ceremony.

The jury consisted of 15 people, including artists, teachers, and UNICEF volunteers. It was chaired by Edmond Baudouin, who also created the poster for the contest. Here are the different winners by category:

For photographs:
– 1st: Anaïs De Clerck
– 2nd: Emilie Gribaudo

For drawings:
– 1st: Ymane M’bodj
– 2nd: Irupé Abinzano

The “Public’s Favorite” prize was awarded to Myriame Labidi.

The winners received several prizes, such as a coaching session with professional photographer Meghann Stanley and a quarter of drawing lessons with artist Louis Dollé.
