Through its Delegation for Senior Citizenship, the city of Nice organized the first painting and sculpture competition for seniors between February 12 and March 12.
This art competition, which is part of the policy implemented for the benefit of all seniors in Nice, aims to highlight those who, upon retirement, have engaged in life paths that fully realize them.
This initiative adds to a whole range of activities designed to allow seniors to find avenues for full fulfillment by embarking on the field that best matches their personality (singing, dancing, art, sports, travel, conferences…).
More than one hundred seniors from Nice have registered for this painting and sculpture competition.
After creation, comes deliberation! On Thursday, a jury will meet at the Mediterranean University Center to deliberate. The prizes – three for painting and three for sculpture – will be awarded to the artists by Christian Estrosi.
