On Friday, April 20, 2012, at 11 a.m., Christian Estrosi, Mayor of Nice and President of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis, will inaugurate the garden of the five senses, an educational organic vegetable garden installed at the Château elementary school site.
The result of a joint project between schools and the Directorate of Green Spaces
Winners of the third Environmental Awards organized by the city of Nice, the elementary and specialized schools of the Château (visually impaired and health issues) were able to create, in partnership with the city’s Directorate of Green Spaces, a sensory and essence garden maintained collectively by the students.
Students from seven classes, with or without disabilities, work according to their age group in small teams, beyond their differences, to maintain the garden.
