This evening, the Regional Olympic and Sports Committee will hold its General Assembly in the presence of leaders and representatives from the sports association world in the Alpes-Maritimes and the Var.
It will be an opportunity for President Ivan Coste-Maniรจre to reflect on the past season and the new elements the NOTRe law announces for the reorganization of sports bodies.

The CROS of the Cรดte d’Azur has been fulfilling missions delegated by the French National Olympic and Sports Committee, the Regional Directorate of Youth, Sports and Social Cohesion, and the Regional Council of PACA for several years.
To elucidate these missions, a decalog has been developed to illustrate the content that is not always well known by the public but also by all the actors who animate and participate in sports activities.

To contribute to the influence of high-level sports and improve medical monitoring is to create a real interinstitutional collaboration among the actors involved with high-level athletes.
To defend the ethics of sport by safeguarding and promoting the values of Olympism is to encourage sports practice in compliance with the rules of Ethics and Fair-play and to enhance arbitration.
To communicate to be heard, recognized, and understood is to improve internal communication to develop the external influence of the CROS.
To prevent risky behaviors and promote the benefits of sports practice is to organize and participate in the dissemination of health-related information to all concerned audiences.
