Their names are Muriel, Patrick, Salvatore, or Fanny, and they share a common desire to make the lives of children and mothers in Darfur less difficult, if not normal. With its slogan “1 orange=1 €”, ADE has taken on the challenge of continuing Sister Emmanuelle’s work, which began over 35 years ago. A challenge fulfilled today, as the association has collected over €250,000 (including €150,000 from the 1 orange=1 € operation) to finance the purchase of a mobile clinic and contribute to the operation of professional training centers, street children farms, medical programs, leprosy centers, and centers for disabled children.

“All ADE members are entirely volunteers, and operational costs are covered by our board members. All donations collected are fully allocated to the children.” Muriel Tran Ngoc Phu, the President of ADE, is as persuasive as she is convinced, and it is to congratulate her for her courage and dedication that the Azur Pôle Média team followed the setup and proceedings of this charity evening to create a DVD that will soon be given to the association members.
