The ecological approach to green spaces is increasingly advocated by civil society. It is becoming a priority concern for green space managers. Its implementation raises numerous technical and practical questions.

How can it be implemented in different types of green spaces?

How can biodiversity be better taken into account? How can communication be improved with citizens who may sometimes be hostile? Are there collective or territorial approaches?

This round table will provide answers through testimonies from public green space managers and interventions by experts. It will also be an opportunity to present different labeling initiatives.

Why this action for the Pรดle Azur Provence agglomeration community?

Since 2009, the green space services of the municipalities within the Pรดle Azur Provence Agglomeration Community have been working on implementing action 76 of the environmental charter signed on June 3, 2006, “Towards a differentiated management of green spaces.”

Today, this action is being realized through the application of specific management tailored to each type of green space.

At the departmental level, the Agribio association aims to promote a more ecological management of green spaces. The initiatives of the agglomeration community and Agribio align, and the CAPAP volunteered to sign an agreement with Agribio to organize a round table on the ecological management of green spaces within its territory.
