In total, 19,756 candidates from the academy passed the second group, which is nearly 9 out of 10 candidates. For all types of baccalaureate combined, the pass rate reached 89.2%, an increase of 0.9 points compared to the results of 2017.
For the general baccalaureate, the pass rate after the second group is 90.8%.
In the Nice academy, 22,139 candidates were present at the June 2018 baccalaureate session (56.9% in the general series, 20.1% in the technology series, and 23.0% in the professional series).
This year, the number of successful candidates increased for the general baccalaureate by 615 admitted, making a total of 11,441 candidates, for the technological baccalaureate by 246 admitted, making a total of 4,018 candidates, and for the professional baccalaureate by 125 admitted, making a total of 4,297 candidates compared to the 2017 session.
Results by series at the academic level: 90.5% in the L series, 89.9% in the ES series, 91.5% in the S series.
For the technological baccalaureate, the pass rate after the second group is 90.4%.
For the professional baccalaureate, the pass rate after the second group is 84.4%.
