The Back-to-School Allowance (Ars), means-tested, applies to children aged 6 to 18 years who are in school or apprenticeship. This year, it amounts to โฌ272.57 * per child.
For those aged 6/16, the Ars was paid on August 20th.

A school enrollment certificate has been sent to you. Have it completed by your child’s school and return it to your Caf after signing it. You can also return it by attaching a school certificate. Once received, your Caf will assess your rights and proceed, if applicable, to the payment of the Ars.
Note: You have only one dependent child and receive no benefits, your 2006 income is less than 21,991 euros: submit a benefits application to your Caf (form downloadable from nice.caf.fr).
