This morning will mark the start of the school year for primary schools. The Nice City Hall will gradually open the 154 schools and 28 nurseries after implementing the health measures required by the National Education, addressing the desires and concerns of parents who have chosen to send their children back to school.
Let us recall that this decision is a voluntary choice.
It is forecasted that between 80 and 90% of students will return to school.
The Mayor of Nice, who has been heavily involved in this matter by coordinating the organizational operations, will welcome the little ones from nursery at “Les Iris” and the students at the elementary school “Les Baumettes – Simone Veil.”
