3×3 Basketball is a recent and alternative practice to traditional Basketball. It is considered a full-fledged discipline and will soon become an Olympic sport. This practice makes the sport faster and even more spectacular, all for the enjoyment of players and spectators, starting at 10 a.m. at Vauban Stadium.
For four years, the Cavigal Nice Basket 06 has been committed to developing the 3×3 basketball practice.
As part of the Nice Challenge, in cooperation with FIBA and the FFBB, the CNB 06 has organized about ten qualifying tournaments for the Nice final tournament, which will allow two teams: one men’s team and one women’s team, to qualify for the French Open.
Twelve “Brown” tournaments, approved by the FFBB, are scheduled throughout France and the overseas departments and territories.
This final tournament allows the winning team to qualify for the French Open (“Red” category), which will take place in Nรฎmes on August 2nd.
The Cavigal Nice Basket 06, which has been approved as an organizer for one of these stages at Vauban Stadium and in the Leyrit hall, organizes the final tournament of the Nice 3×3 Challenge. The best finalist teams from the qualifying tournaments in both men’s and women’s categories.
On this occasion, the team of Anthony Christophe, point guard for the Monaco team and winner of the 3×3 French Open in 2013 in Perpignan, will be present.
