Credit to the northerners, who played with almost no bench and came back twice after negative breaks (27-35 in the second quarter and 67-71 in the last minute), even though they were unable to maintain a 6-point advantage in the final quarter.
The Cavigal players, led by Sharp (18 pts), Galliou-Loho, and Paget (both with 13 pts), managed to deliver the final stroke of the last second and had the merit to cling to their pride to avoid further disappointment for their loyal supporters.
