Returning from the locker room, the women from Nice set the pace, and young Karisma Penn (medical replacement for Jeanne Senghor) dominated in the paint, alongside Christelle Diallo, against an experienced player like Sandra Dijon (133 selections for the French team and a European title with Bourges) to extend the lead to more than 8 by the 30th minute, 55-47.
In the final quarter, the whole Nice team continued on their trajectory, despite counter-attacks from opponents Courtney Hurt and Amanda Lassiter. One minute before the end, Katerina Zohnova launched a Czech-style missile from three-point range (62-55), KB Sharp drew two fouls in quick succession and made all her free throws to crush the Normandy team, with an excellent final score of 66-57!
Double success for the women from Nice, this second victory allows them to escape the relegation zone of the championship and rise to 8th place in the standings with a favorable goal average.”
