Bastien Duhem: A Promising Designer

Latest News

It’s by being enamored with a wedding dress that the passion for ready-to-wear awakens. His first stitches, inherited from his mother Loli, would tickle the clothes of his cousin’s dolls. “He would also create flamenco dresses with the shavings collected when sharpening a wooden pencil,” his mother tells us.

Original and creative, isn’t it? “I draw inspiration from everything around me,” reveals Bastien, a designer who gives free rein to his imagination with Hispanic trends.

It must be said that Bastien has Spanish roots, so naturally, his collection features the warmth of its colors. “Before moving on to design, I sketch the lines of the garment, then I choose the material and the colors,” explains Bastien, who is also a flamenco dancer.

Today, with his BEP and his professional baccalaureate in craftsmanship and arts, specializing in fashion clothing and accessories, Bastien is heading to “La Escuela de Moda de Sevilla.”

His dream? “To open a custom creation boutique in France,” answers the young designer.
