From September 9 to 20, Beaulieu-sur-Mer will fully showcase its cultural creativity with a new musical event: the Beaulieu Classic Festival.

International elite musicians, exceptional repertoire, legendary venues every night different, the Beaulieu Classic Festival skillfully combines musical enchantment and the “Cรดte dโ€™Azur spirit”!

And the Beaulieu Classic Festival, under the bold direction of its artistic director, Michaรซl Desjardins, kicks off with a bang! On Tuesday, September 9, the opening evening features the current trumpet star worldwide, Sergey Mikhailovich NAKARIAKOV, nicknamed the “Paganini” of the trumpet for his technical virtuosity and the “Caruso” of the trumpet for his lyricism.

Other major stars will include:

โ— Friday 12, “Kreisler Evening” presented by Frรฉdรฉric LODEON, cellist, conductor, and famous host of musical programs on France Inter and France Musique, with violinist Tatiana SAMOUIL playing on a Stradivarius that belonged to Fritz Kreisler and performed at the closing ceremony of the Sochi Olympics, and pianist Irina LANKOVA, who recently performed at the Gaveau Hall.

โ— The Winner of Voice Master who will perform with the Cannes Orchestra

โ— Thursday 18, event evening with the HAGEN Quartet, one of the world’s most famous string quartets, which through 30 years of collective work has forged an exclusive identity.

โ— Friday 19, pianist Jean-Franรงois ZYGEL, the “Mr. Music” of France 2 for variations on Beethoven, the Classical according to Zygel.

โ— And Saturday 20, on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the birth of Adolph Sax, inventor of the saxophone, the DรฉSAXรฉS, 4 saxophone virtuosos, will present their internationally renowned show “Saxophonissimo” performed 1500 times worldwide, in which they revisit the history of music from jazz to reggae, without forgetting Vivaldi, Bach, Debussy, or Ravel.
