On Monday, April 11, at 2:30 PM, the Jeunesses Musicales de France will present a show titled โI Didn’t See Mirzaโ at the Casino of Beaulieu-sur-Mer. In tribute to Nino Ferrer, this show is intended to introduce this great figure of French chanson, through his popular hits and lesser-known tracks.
Tom, Laurent, and Benoit bring this great pioneer of sounds and words back into the spotlight. They โplay likeโ Nino, without the brass instruments, but with just as much energy, in keeping with the whimsical and fanciful spirit of the great blond!
The orchestration reflects this playful spirit. The audience will experience a mix of guitars, banjo, ukulele, percussion, pots and pans, mouth noises, candy wrappers… and of course, very prominent vocals!
The musical program will be composed of the following titles (in alphabetical order): – Agata – Alexandre โ Blues en fin de monde – Chanson pour petit bout – Je vends des robes โ LโArche de Noรฉ – Lโinexpressible – La maison prรจs de la fontaine – La rue Madureira – Le Sud – Le tรฉlรฉfon – Le millionnaire – Les cornichons – Les hommes ร tout faire – Mirza – Mon copain Bismarck – Oh!
