The Nice Philharmonic Orchestra continues its complete performance of the concertos and symphonies of the great Ludwig van Beethoven. A cycle that will be completed in 2020 on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of his birth.
Three works are on the program for the concert this Sunday, the 27th at 3 p.m.
Firstly, The Creatures of Prometheus (overture), then the Triple Concerto in C major (opus 56), and finally the Symphony No. 7 in A major (opus 92).
The Orchestra and the soloists (Francesca Dego for the violin, Giacomo Cardelli for the cello, and Vincent Larderet for the piano) will be conducted by György G. Rath, the music director of the OPN.
