This Sunday, February 17, the Chief Rabbi of France, Gilles Bernheim, will be present at the Negresco Hotel to address this issue that is currently concerning the Jewish community of France.
Alongside him will be Barbara Lefebvre, a history teacher for 14 years and a contributor to “Des Territoires Perdus de la République” published in 2002. She is the author of “Elèves sous influence,” published by La Martinière in 2004, and “Comprendre les génocides du 20ème siècle – enseigner et comparer,” published by Bréal in 2007.
She had the courage to testify without a pseudonym to make us realize that the youth we thought to be tolerant and concerned about human rights was capable of the most virulent racism, anti-Semitism, and sexism.
The debate will be moderated by journalist Hélène Maman.
