– This enchanting journey is part of the program for the 2nd edition of the Autumn-Winter of Jewish Cultures of the Côte d’Azur, organized by the Unified Jewish Social Fund and the Jewish Educational and Cultural Center of Nice.
– The Rose des Sables company, with Lina Brakha, choreographer and
dance school teacher, accompanied by 8 dancers, presents “Yasmina’s
Journey.” A danced tale inspired by Middle Eastern stories!
Combining the traditions of storytelling and oriental dance, Yasmina’s
Journey is an invitation to a spicy and sensual voyage. An unforgettable
show where Egyptian dance, Saidi, Baladi, as well as Bollywood, Arabo-Andalusian, and tribal dance intertwine…:
As the thread of the show, Nourhene, the storyteller, takes the audience through
a whirlwind of dreams and reveals the richness of oriental culture through
Yasmina’s story. The delightful young girl makes the Great Sultan fall in love… Forced by destiny, she embarks on an initiatory journey punctuated and enriched by encounters with the dancers…
