Between tradition, modernity, and environmental respect: the 2016 season of “Lou Passagin”

Latest News

Since 2012, people from Nice, the Côte d’Azur, and tourists have been able to reconnect with the tradition of the “Passagin.”

Thanks to its success and appeal—in 2015, it experienced a record number of passengers, with 56,185 people transported from May 11 to October 11—this free, historical, and popular service will continue all summer, providing a connection between Charles Felix dock and Entrecasteaux quay.

The shuttle will operate rotations every day for 4 months, from 10 AM to 7 PM.

Last year, the Ratapignata, the 7-meter traditional boat belonging to the Nice-based company E.E.M.C.A.(*), which crosses between the two sides of the Port of Nice, was equipped with two submerged electric motors to meet sustainable development requirements.
