The city of Grasse is a signatory of the Environmental Charter of the Community of Agglomeration Pole Azur Provence, in the process of obtaining Agenda 21 certification.
Bringing producers closer to consumers and raising awareness about environmental protection were two major objectives when Bio Grasse was launched 17 years ago.
Bio Grasse, which will be held on September 8th and 9th, is now synonymous with a natural and friendly gathering, offering this year a diverse covered market, nearly 1200 mยฒ, on Cours Honorรฉ Cresp.
This event has become an additional tool for raising public awareness on what have now become essential issues in our society and ways of life.
Noteworthy is the presence of the Italian Association of Organic Agriculture (A.I.A.B), an organization participating in a European partnership policy between France, Italy, and Germany on the project “Bio sotto casa” (Welcome to our home) and promoting organic farming in Italy. Its representatives will provide information to consumers about European organic products and sector regulations.
A large covered and friendly market of 1,000mยฒ where many food producers and exhibitors in organic wellbeing and cosmetics will be present.
The producers will present the characteristics of their products and their places of origin.
As part of the partnership with the Agribio06 Association, local organic producers will offer their locally grown products for sale.
A stand will also be open to visitors seeking information on organic farming, points of sale, and opportunities to engage as active consumers.
Eco Habitat Space will highlight the art of living and sustainable development from the perspective of ecological housing and renewable energies.
