The Prefecture announces that “by order dated October 24, 2017, published in the Official Journal of the French Republic on November 1, 2017, the municipality of Biot has been recognized as a beneficiary of the state of natural disaster due to differential land movement phenomena following drought and soil rehydration, which occurred on its municipal territory from April 1, 2016, to September 30, 2016. It is reminded that the affected parties have 10 days from the publication of the aforementioned order to submit an estimated statement of the losses they have suffered to their insurance companies, in order to benefit from the compensation scheme established by amended law no. 82-600 of July 13, 1982.”
