Between 200 and 300 students from the “Save Your University” collective gathered this Friday in the gardens of the Valrose Faculty of Sciences and voted to block the site starting Tuesday.
They are demanding the withdrawal of the reform and the cessation of budget cuts.
Yet, spring is the time for cherries and love, but for some, the old slogan “how beautiful the revolution is” is still relevant.
Their references are neither ideological, utopian, dogmatic, nor extremist but… naïve!
Their action is simply libertarian and chaotic.
It remains confined to the generic: it was better before… without ever specifying before what, before whom, before when.
They are following the trend of the times, the excess (the withdrawal of the reform), the tumult (the strike), and the confusionism (the blockade).
In their future lives, caught up by reality, they will regret this blessed spring, they will remember these foolish years.
