It is never too late.
This is what Sol (Chantal Lauby), a former glory of Argentine tango, must have thought when she left Buenos Aires to meet her grandson Jo (Giovanni Pucci), whom she has never known and who lives in Paris with his mother, Eva (Camille Chamoux).
Sol is determined to piece together a family shattered since the disappearance of her son Raphael—Jo’s father—with whom she had fallen out.
But when she arrives in Paris, nothing goes as planned.
The film gracefully blends a range of bittersweet emotions—magnificently supported by the strains of tango—with a joyful spirit brought on by its actors.
Chantal Lauby adds a touch of madness to her character, a diva fallen from grace, while Camille Chamoux excels in this delicate portrayal of a young woman rediscovering the joy of living.
