Benjamin Lavernhe (a member of the Comรฉdie Franรงaise) had already experienced, in “The Sense of a Party,” the ordeal of delivering a speech on a wedding day. However, while his character previously shone with arrogance, this time he is filled with doubts. Above all, he has no desire to speak at his sister’s wedding.
Around him revolves a family as charming as they are irritating, unable to do anything about his complicated love life. Throughout this comedy, Laurent Tirard infuses a mood with a hint of acidity that adds to its caustic charm.
To achieve this, he surrounds himself with an incredible cast, bringing together Guilaine Londez, Franรงois Morel, Sara Giraudeau, Julia Platon, and Kyan Khojandi.
