One year has already passed since the citizens expressed a desire for change… Unfortunately, since then, disappointment has prevailed: the economic outlook is darkening with an inexorable rise in unemployment, the moralization of political life has become urgent, even at the highest level of the State, division and community tensions threaten national unity.
The situation is comical, with a President who has to face a war within the government, as well as within the majority and among leftist opinion, and it is almost unprecedented!
While economic and industrial activity is lacking, public and social deficits continue to grow because we are unable to finance our social contract.
Many of us fear an extremist surge that would lead straight into a wall: the economic choices proposed by Jean-Luc Mélenchon and Marine Le Pen are the same, we exit the euro, return to the franc, distribute money, devalue against other currencies, it would be a policy leading to a major accident.
We must offer a discourse of truth and responsibility instead of untenable promises and stigmatizations that will never uplift the country. Only collective effort, fairly distributed among everyone, will allow us to overcome challenges.
We must build the change … of change, quickly, but not just any way and not with just anyone!
