dictee.jpg Launched in December, this spelling contest project involves 600 out of the 6,500 primary school students. To better appreciate the importance of this initiative, you are invited to cover the final of this spelling contest organized on Wednesday, June 4th at 10 am at the Val Fleuri school, located at 6 chemin Vallon des Vaux in Cagnes-sur-Mer.

Since the beginning of this year, nearly 600 students from CM1 and CM2, studying in 22 classes in Cagnes-sur-Mer belonging to 7 different schools, have engaged with spelling in this playful event. An educational program was developed to ensure a progression in learning throughout the year.

Each month, an identical dictation was conducted by all participating students.

In May, the last dictation led to the selection of one representative from each class who will participate in the grand final on June 4th.

During this final, a final dictation will be submitted to the orthographic acuity of our 22 young champions. The parents and teachers of these children have also been invited to attend the prize-giving ceremony.

The winners will receive their awards from the jury members. Each of the 600 children involved in this spelling marathon will receive a gift and a book in memory of their participation in the event.

Given the success of this first edition, the three partners have already decided to renew the initiative for the next school year. The meeting is therefore set with CM1-CM2 students from Cagnes-sur-Mer for a new adventure, a true support in their desire to learn to write better in the language of Moliรจre.
