The Monaco Artists Open is preparing for its 6th edition. The objective? To put artists in competition around a common theme. For its 2016 edition, the artists will compete on the theme: “Climate and Humanity.”
According to the gallery “L’Entrepôt,” the event organizer, “Climate is a global issue. The COP 21, held at the end of 2015 in Paris, is a political means to combat climate change. The climate concerns us all. Who better than artists to mobilize people around this fundamental issue? The art world, with its universal vocation, is naturally positioned to make an essential contribution to this question. With the 2016 Monaco Artists Open and the theme: ‘Climate and Humanity,’ the competition organized by L’Entrepôt aims to contribute to this necessary awareness.”
