Since March 22nd, the Civic Reserve has been launched, a tool that facilitates the expression of solidarities. It allows for the listing and publicizing of the needs of associations, organizations, and communities for volunteers. It also enables any engaged citizen to make themselves known to offer their assistance.
The prefecture of Alpes-Maritimes confirms that this platform is already having a significant impact, with nearly 5,000 in the Alpes-Maritimes. However, in our department, nearly 2,500 of our fellow citizens are still searching for volunteer missions.
That is why communities, associations, or other actors are encouraged to express their needs that could be met by volunteers from the civic reserve.
