A few weeks ago, the Nice Cรดte dโAzur Metropolitan Area launched the 4th edition of the “Antoine Risso: Focus on Sea Protection!” Call for Projects. Applications are open until tonight for all residents and organizations within the metropolitan area.
After three successful editions, this initiative is focusing this year on sea protection. This choice resonates with the United Nations Ocean Conference, which Nice will host in June 2025. The objective is to promote concrete actions to preserve marine biodiversity, raise awareness about ocean health, and develop a scientific culture around this essential ecosystem.
Participants can be individuals, associations, educational institutions, or local authorities. The proposed projects must be carried out in the metropolitan area. The Metropolitan Area will support the winners in implementing their initiatives, providing technical and financial assistance of up to 8,000 euros.
An Application Accessible to All
To participate, just submit your project online by Wednesday, December 12, 2024. The selection of proposals will take place in several stages. The final jury will be chaired by Richard Chemla, vice-president of the Metropolitan Area in charge of ecological transition. The selected projects will help make 2025 a year dedicated to the sea and the Ocean.
With this call for projects, the Nice Cรดte dโAzur Metropolitan Area invites its residents to get involved for a sustainable future. Applications are open, an opportunity to take action to protect the sea and its riches.
