The city of Nice is supporting the association JACCEDE in organizing the third edition of the National Accessibility Day, which will take place on Saturday, October 26th.
Nearly 30 cities in France, including Nice, will be mobilized throughout this day to:
– Evaluate the level of accessibility of public institutions (post offices, shops, restaurants, banks, etc.);
– Meet with merchants and raise their awareness about the importance of accessibility;
– Provide the public for free with information about accessible locations via the website www.jaccede.com.
To ensure the success of this event, the organizing team is looking for volunteers (people with reduced mobility, families, neighbors, students, etc.).
