The situation is concerning today: blood reserves are now below the alert threshold and, according to the EFS, everything indicates that they continue to decrease.
However, the need for blood remains just as high, and even more so since hospital activities have resumed, states the French Blood Establishment in its press release, in which it mentions that stocks have now been reduced to 8 days in Alpes-Maritimes.
Donations by appointment only
The EFS has taken measures to ensure the health safety of donors and to reassure them. A mask is provided, and wearing it is mandatory for everyone. Time slots can be reserved directly on the resadon.fr website or by calling 04.91.18.87.90.

#Take Over
On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, June 14th, the EFS is launching for the second year the operation “#Take Over, 1 month for everyone to donate!” All citizens are invited to become blood donation ambassadors from June 8th to July 11th by donating their blood and encouraging their friends and family to do the same.
